First ADiWa Communications Meeting

The Open House offers a great platform with demos and guided tours

On December 7th, the first communications meeting of the ADiWa (Alliance Digital Product Flow) research project took place in Stuttgart. SAP invited the communications contacts of all 12 project partners to discuss and define the ADiWa’s project communication and public relations goals. The of SAP and Fraunhofer IAO’s Open House event offered a great platform, with demos and guided tours, for this meeting.

The ADiWa communications meeting’s goals were to get an update on the project status, to define a joint understanding of project communication, and to discuss the future communication activities. In addition, the attendees could join a guided tour through the demos at the Open House and get inspiration on how ADiWa could be presented in the future.  For example, the Future Factory Initiative demo showed a customized production. One of the major next step for ADiWa is to create its own demo for events like CeBIT 2010.
